Chapter 1 How does the rise and fall of Motivation 2.0 relate to your life experiences that hold true to what Pink purports in the chapter?

I remember when I wanted to play instead of clean my room so I like what Barb does with her kids. I could relate to the Vocation Vacations part because my high school encouraged mission work. Many of the seniors paid to go to Honduras to to physical labor for the poor. Many of my classmates had to work all year to pay for the trip. It was hard work but we all felt good about ourselves showing the idea of doing work without getting paid. I am surprised that mission work wasn’t mentioned in the book because it has been around for a long time. It has the same idea as the Firefox in many cases. I know I work retreats because I like working with students but it also gives me experience working with kids to put on my resume.
